Lorna is an artist who is primarily an oil painter but who is experienced in working successfully with many mediums including watercolour, inks, and charcoal. 

Lornas paintings are an evolution of continuing self study and exploration of differing painting techniques and mediums. She is inspired by, and studied the techniques of the Old Masters and, whilst appreciating many artists of differing painting genres, she holds Artemisia Gentileschi in highest regard as a painter of extreme competence and talent. Whilst Lornas work is based on Representaional sympathies her work will always be approached in her individualistic manner imbuing each painting with expression and sensitivity according to the commission and subject matter. Lorna is currently working on a series of landscape impressions of the Wye Valley and Welsh mountains.
